ready for

peak

The holiday season - Christmas.
For Photobox, it's more than festive cheer; it's 'peak' - their busiest and most crucial business period.

Tasked with an open brief, I led a comprehensive Christmas photography project for Photobox. The goal: create images that would resonate with our key personas, Juliette and Nicole, while being versatile enough for use across all channels.
From creative direction to talent sourcing, project management and design, I took full ownership of every aspect.

New vs old ad creative

I worked with Karen on a photoshoot for Photobox in the Summer of 2019. She was the creative director for the whole shoot, overseeing all aspects of a location shoot production. She was very organised and also decisive on set, which is needed with tight deadlines to meet. She was such a fun personality to work alongside, which is especially great when the team is relatively small. I look forward to working with Karen again.

The results were impressive: we produced around 200 professional shots that elevated our brand image to premium yet attainable status, earning praise throughout the company. To further expand our resources, I encouraged our Senior Designer Kate to capture additional organic shots during the shoot, providing us with a wealth of content for social media.

To compete in the crowded market and elevate our brand. we needed to tick all the boxes when it came to our PLPs. We were using very simple pack shots to show our products and users weren't seeing the quality.

I initiated this new product photography shoot in order to enhance the premium look and feel of our products and to create more consistency.
